Actors With Same Name.


       
Some actors set their name numerological. Some just put something that they like. But did name really play an important role in their career or just appearance and acting quality? Many would come out with appearance and good quality of acting. But in this entry we look at the career graph of few actors who has similar name and surprisingly same career graph!

Parvathi:

Parvathi Menon
When she did ‘Poo’ in Tamil she was widely admire for her acting and character in her movie. Everyone thought that she will be the next superstar or at least in top-ten list in Kollywood .But she just vanished from the entire cinema industry after her debut movie .Some said she is continuing her studies but some said she turned down few golden opportunities by demanding to much pay. Now she comes back after 5 years in Dhanush’s ‘Mariyaan’.
Parvathi Omanakutan Nair.

She vows the entire India by winning Miss Femina India contest in 2008 and she become first runner-up in 2008 Miss world contest. As usual she started her acting career in Bollywood .The movie was a flop. Then she signed a Tamil project in south ‘Parameswaran’ , which is until now shelved for unknown  reason. In ‘Billa 2’ she did a small role as Ajith Kumar’s love interest and that movie was a big flop too. Lately it was announced that she signed another Tamil project ‘Nathigal Nanaivathillai’ but the second week it was reported that she was quitted that offer and another actress doing that project.






Parvathi Melton.
She mainly appear in Telugu movies. Born to an Indian mother and German father, Parvathi was talk of the Tollywood cinema for her beauty. She was the first choice for Ajit’s   ‘Akbar’( which changed to ‘Aegan’ later)  then later that opportunities went to Shereya Saran and finally end up  in Nayantara’s  hand when Shereya shake her legs with comedian Vadivelu in ‘Indralogathil Naa Azagappan’ ! Lately she did an item song in Prince Mahesh Babu’s ‘Dookudu’.



Kartika:

‘Tootukudi’ Kartika
At the age of 19 she debuted in Tamil cinema on ‘Toothukudi’ .The movie was a average success in that time and the song “Karuvapaya” made her famous. When at the same time another Karthika introduced in Tamil cinema, Kartika stared addressed as ‘Tootukudi’ Kartika. After that she did around 10 movies in Tamil, which was all small budget movies and flops as well. Now nobody knows what she is doing or where she is.


‘Nam Naadu’ Kartika
She introduced  to Tamil cinema in “Nam Naadu “ staring Sarath Kumar as male lead. Then she paired with comedian turned hero Karunas in ‘Tindukal Sarathi’. The movie was a success project and talk of the industry at that year, but Kartika get only a few number of multiple heroine subject. She is married and a housewife now.


Kartika Nair
Yesteryear beauty Radha’s elder daughter made her debut in blockbuster hit ‘Ko’ in 2011.The movie was turning point for actor Jeeva  and Kartika. ‘Ko’ opened all the opportunity doors in Kollywood. Before Kollywood entrance, she did a Telugu movie “Josh” alongside Nagachaitanya .After ‘Ko’ it is said that she going to repeat her role in Hindi remake of  ‘Ko’. But until today there is no sign of ‘Ko’ in Hindi. She did a Malayalam period movie , which was a flop and a Telugu movie alongside Trisha and Jr.NTR (DUM) but her career graph still shows no sign of growth. Currently she is doing two Tamil projects ‘Deal’ and ‘Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum’.



Laksmi:

Laksmi Rai
Karnataka beauty Laksmi Rai debut to Tamil cinema in ‘Karka Kasadara’ which is a flop. Her later projects also flop. Then she started do Malayalam movies and become a successful star there. Slowly she gains attention of Kollywood directors. In 2008 she did ‘Dam Dum’ alongside Jayam Ravi and widely appreciated for her role as a Lawyer in Russia. She become one of the most wanted actor in Kolywood when two her movies ‘Mankatha’ and ‘Kanchana’ did very well in box-office. She is getting enough offers now from all the languages and she is slowly moving to Number one chair in south cinema.

Laksmi Manju.

She is the daughter of Telugu star Mohan Babu and sister of Manoj Manju. She is not a famous actress but the offers that she is getting is quite interesting .In Disney’s telugu movie ‘Anaganaga Oka thiraru’ she played the role of villain. It’s an animation cum 3D movie. Lately this year she got another offer in Maniratnam’s ‘Kadal’. She did a small role in this film. But acting in Maniratnam’s project is a great deal of opportunity, and she got that. Now is producing a bilingual project in Tamil and Telugu. (Maranthen Manithen and Gundello Godari )

Laksmi Menon.

This 15 year old girl takes entire film industry in surprise when her debut movie and her second movie made in Box-office last year. After ‘Kumki’ and ‘Sundarapaandiyan’ she doing another Tamil project ‘Manjappai’. By this year she will become one of the most wanted actress in south cinema.

Now can we say numerology does play role in our success?

Copied / Adapted Movies in Tamil Cinema.

Tamil cinema start to talk in 1931 through Kalidass. Now it is already 4 generations passed.Remakes and dubbing is not something new to Tamil cinema..In 1944 , Kannada movie Harichandra   was dubbed into Tamil language..Then slowly other language films started  dubbed into Tamil.
